The final phase of admission for engineering and pharmacy courses would be held on July 24 and 25 and the allotments would be made on July 29.
Certificate verification for candidates who have already booked slots in the final phase would be held on July 26 and they can exercise options from July 24 to 27. The options would be frozen on July 27. After provisional allotment of seats on July 29, students need to pay the tuition fee and self-report through the website from July 29 to 31. They have to report at the allotted colleges before July 31.
After the first phase of admissions, 16,432 seats remained vacant, while 11,755 candidates have not reported or cancelled their admission after being allotted seat taking the total vacant seats available for the final phase of admissions to 28,187.
The number of seats vacant in major branches include civil engineering (4,739), computer science engineering (4,952), electronics and communication engineering (6,232), electrical and electronics engineering (4,880), information technology (765) and mechanical engineering (5,871).
Exercising options
Candidates who have not secured a seat so far, but are done with their certificate verification can participate in the second phase, apart from those who have not exercised the options so far, but their certificates are verified.
