A council worker was hospitalised after a crash shut a major road in Gwynedd for several hours.
Emergency services were called to the A470 in Trawsfynydd at around 8am on Wednesday following a crash between a Peugeot 306 and a Volvo.
Gwynedd Council said the two-vehicle crash involved one of their pick-up vehicles, and said a staff member was in hospital.

"A member of staff has been taken to hospital and we will continue to support him.”

Police closed the road in both directions while the incident was dealt with, leading to long delays for motorists.
A Police spokesman said: "We were called at 8am reporting an RTC involving a Peugeot 306 and a Volvo.
“The road was blocked by the entrance to the power station.
“The Welsh Ambulance Service did attend.
“Highways came to the scene and cleared the road as there was a lot of debris and some fuel spilled.”
The Welsh Ambulance Service were asked to comment.
