There has been a lot of curiosity about director Vikram Kumar’s next Telugu film titled Gang Leader starring Nani, since it borrows its title from one of Chiranjeevi’s 1991 hit. During the early stages of production, the unit had unveiled a promo featuring actor Satya merely to establish the fact that Nani will be a leader of a gang of five women, protecting them at every step.

The new teaser unveiled on Wednesday morning shows Nani as a crime fiction writer, or in the words used by the film, revenge writer. He goes by the pen name of ‘Pencil’.

Veteran actress Lakshmi (who has just been a part of the recent hit Oh! Baby), Saranya and Priyanka Arul Mohan are all part of the inimitable gang. The film stars actor Karthikeya (of RX100 fame) as the antagonist. Priyadarshi, Vennela Kishore and Raghubabu are also a part of the film which has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
