CBSE Class 10th Compartment result 2019 released

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released the compartment results for Class 10th students.

The CBSE Class 10th compartment results announced today at the official website - cbse.nic.in


Candidates, who appeared for the Class X compartment board examination, can check their results online by entering their credentials like - Roll Number, Date of Birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format), School No., Centre No. and Admit Card ID.

The CBSE had conducted the Class 10 Compartment examination from July 2, 2019 to July 9, 2019. The Class 10th compartment examinations were conducted at 591 centres across the country.

Around 1,38,705 candidates placed in compartments when the CBSE Class 10th results declared on May 6, 2019. Out of 1,38,705 around 73,205 students appeared for the examination.

As the results have been declared, the passed candidates will now be able to take the admission in their desired stream as per their eligibility.


The admission process in Delhi schools will close on July 31, 2019.


In the results, that was declared on May 6, 2019 13 students topped the CBSE Class X results and shared the first position by scoring 499 marks out of 500. Out of those 13 students eight were from Uttar Pradesh, two students were from Rajasthan while one each was from Haryana, Punjab and Kerala.


The number of high scorers nearly doubled from 2018, the year when the Class X Board made a comeback.


As against four all-India toppers last year, there were 13 students who topped scoring 499 out of 500, followed by 25 students who got 498 and 59 who scored 497. The results were announced 32 days after the completion of the exam. The overall pass percentage improved by 4.4% point, recording 91.1%, which is also the highest in the history of compulsory Class X Board exams for CBSE. The last compulsory Class X exam before the CCE era was in 2009 when the pass percentage was 88.84%. In 2018, Class X Boards made a comeback with a pass percentage of 86.7%.
