UP: Aligarh man arrested for raping minor girl

AGRA: A 40-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping his neighbour’s minor daughter from Atrauli area in UP's Aligarh.
According to police, the accused kidnapped the six-year-old girl from her house on Tuesday night, when she was sleeping with her father. The locals gathered after hearing the girl’s cries and nabbed the man. The accused was later handed over to the police.
A case has been registered against him under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 on a complaint filed by the victim’s family members at Palimukimpur police station.
