30-year-old man’s body found with head smashed

Gurgaon: A 30-year-old man was found dead on Pataudi road on Tuesday morning with his head reportedly smashed with stones.
An FIR for murder has been registered at Shivaji Nagar police station.
The deceased has been identified as Sarvesh, a native of UP’s Auraiya, who was working at a rubber factory, located near Pataudi road, and lived as a tenant in Devilal colony.
According to police, a passerby spotted the body on Tuesday morning and informed police. A police team reached on spot and found the body lying in a pool of blood and it seemed like his head was smashed with stones or some heavy object.
“The manager of the factory, where Sarvesh used to work, told us that the latter came to work on Monday and left for home in the evening. We are exploring the CCTV footage of nearby areas to identify case and the accused involved,” a police official said, adding that reason behind the murder is also being investigated.
An FIR has been registered against unidentified accused under sections 302 (murder) and 201 (hiding the evidence) of IPC at Shivaji Nagar police station.
