Students protest over admission

Ghaziabad:Around hundred students, including some members of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), allegedly barged into the principal’s office at Lajpat Rai College in Sahibabad on Tuesday and staged a protest after officials denied admission to some students named in the last cut-off list. The students locked up the main door for over four hours and demanded that the principal meets them.

The students alleged that the management of the college was admitting students who got lower marks than those whose names appeaared in the list.
