An Uber driver has relived a horrific 25-minute trip where he was subjected to vile abuse by three passengers who took offence to a request to stop eating in his car.
The 34-year-old driver picked up two men and a woman from Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Queensland, on Sunday at 4am.
The ordeal was captured on the driver's dash cam, obtained by Nine News, which recorded the men threatening him with violence - and one said they were going to shoot him with an AK-47.

He asked one of the men not to eat Subway in his car and was swiftly told to 'get f***ed'.
'We're not going to spill, bro,' the man shouts at the driver.
The driver said of the ordeal: 'I was nervous and shaking.'
The driver offered to cancel the trip but the passengers declined - one even attempting to take the dash camera from him.
'I am holding him hostage, I have got a gun and I am going to f***ing shoot him,' one passenger said.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia one of the men grabbed the driver by the shoulder.

Uber condemned the behaviour and has banned the offender from ordering another ride-share.
Queensland Police said the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
