Foreign Minister S Jaishankar in the Rajya Sabha: I would like to categorically assure the House that no such request was made by the prime minister to the US President. It has been India’s stand that any issue with Pakistan will be solved bilaterally. Any engagement with Pakistan would require an end to cross-border terrorism.
