An up-and-coming rugby star has been granted bail after facing court charged with raping a woman at a house party in Sydney's northwest.

The 18-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by Kurt De Luis, 23, at a party at an Oatlands house in the early hours of Saturday. 

De Luis, who plays for Blacktown in the NSW Canterbury Cup, was on Monday arrested and charged with four counts of sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of sexually touching another person without consent.

His matter was briefly mentioned at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday where he was granted bail on the condition he reports to police daily, surrenders his passport and doesn't enter any international airports.

He must also comply with a curfew and not drink alcohol or take drugs unless they're prescribed by a doctor.

His matter is due back in the same court on September 19.

NSW Rugby League has been contacted for comment.
