Even as the whole state has been plunged into the state of political crisis, former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Tuesday appeared to be endorsing the horse-trading of MLAs while addressing the Karnataka Assembly. With the deadline for the Karnataka floor test fixed by the Speaker at 6 pm, the former CM said in his closing statement made a cryptic comment on the state MLAs, claiming that "retail trade was fine but wholesale trade was an issue," possibly referring to horse-trading.
