Rajkot: Three persons were booked on Tuesday for harassing and looting a bauxite trader in Jamnagar.
According to police, bauxite trader Arvind Pabari (67) was looted of Rs 1 lakh gold chain, Rs 15,000 cash and a cheque book by accused Vanraj Vala and his three aides on July 20. Pabari said his son Jay had to pay Vala some Rs 50 lakh over some business transaction. He further said that Jay had paid the amount, but Vala was kept on demanding money. He also threatened Jay on gun-point recently. They also intimidated Pabari by breaking glass of his car. Police has booked Vala and three others for intimidation, loot and extortion.
