Boxing legend Anthony Mundine has announced that he will return to the ring once again to take on Australian Muay Thai fighter John Wayne Parr.
The 43-year-old says his upcoming match against Parr on the Gold Coast in November is his way 'to redeem myself for myself, family and fans'.
The announcement comes after Mundine was knocked out by Jeff Horn in 96 seconds and made the decision to retire after a 25-year sporting career in both rugby league and boxing.
Mundine, who praised Parr for being a 'deadset legend' said: 'I've got nothing but respect for the brother. But I'm going to show him who's daddy in the boxing ring'.

'I want to make sure I'm in tip-top shape because John Wayne Parr will be,' he said.
'This is Australia's version of the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight - two champs from different fight sports and we know how that one finished. The slick boxer won easy.'
Parr – a 10-time middleweight world champion – is hoping his battle against Mundine will secure his 'legacy as one of Australia's greatest'.
'Crazy to think after fighting Muay Thai all over the world, it's a boxing fight against another Australian that's going to finally put me on the map,' he wrote on Instagram.
'My KO ratio in boxing is 100 per cent with 10 wins, 10 knockouts, so I know if I can land I can hurt whoever is in front of me,' The Gold Coast boxer said in a press conference on Saturday night.
