Actress Koena Mitra gets six months in prison in cheque bouncing case

Bollywood actress and item girl Koena Mitra has been found guilty by a magistrate's court in a case of cheque bouncing. Koena has been sentenced to simple imprisonment of six months. This case was registered after model Poonam Sethi complained against Koena. The actress, who is under Sethi's debt, offered her a cheque of Rs 3 lakh, which later on got bounced in the bank. Following this, Poonam sent a legal notice to the 'Musafir' actress back in July, 2013. However, Koena has denied these allegations and will most likely be challenging the verdict in higher court.
