It constitutes an Orbiter that goes around the Moon in a 100 km X 100 km orbit. ISRO has a host of objectives for Chandrayaan-2, including its hopes of unraveling some secrets about the evolution of the solar system. The most critical objective will be to reconfirm the presence of water on the Moon.
