The latest analysis from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors (GBD) Study1 revealed almost 3 billion people had a headache disorder in 2016. Migraine was responsible for 45ยท12 million years of life lived with disability; most prevalent in women aged between 15 and 49 years.2
