NEW DELHI: OMCs were trading on a mixed note in Monday's session with their sectoral index on BSE trading higher.
Shares of Indian Oil Corporation (up 1.91 per cent), Reliance Industries (up 1.43 per cent),
Castrol India (up 0.56 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.52 per cent) were trading with gains.
Petronet LNG (down 1.61 per cent), Indraprastha Gas (down 1.15 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (down 0.91 per cent) and Gujarat State Petronet (down 0.75 per cent) were trading in the red.
The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 0.37 per cent up at 13,957.07 around 11:16 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 70.70 points at 11,348.55 while the BSE Sensex was down 283.58 points at 38,053.43.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Spicejet, Vodafone Idea, GAIL, Dish TV India, L&T Fin Holding, Adani Power, Ashok Leyland, IDFC First Bank and Bank of India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
