New report reveals concerns of Airbnb from neighborhoods

Short-term rental properties are popping up all over the U.S., in large part because companies like Airbnb, Vrbo, and HomeAway are connecting would-be renters to property owners looking to lease out their spaces. Sounds perfect, right? For the neighbors of these rental properties, however, maybe not.

Airbnb is exploding in popularity. While it is convenient for renters and owners, next door neighbors have serious concerns about its impact on the neighborhood.

Porch, a free home network, surveyed nearly 1,000 people on the concerns they have about having Airbnb renters in their neighborhood. Some of their findings include:
