AMBALA: Three motorcycle-borne youths died in a road accident on the National Highway-65 after a Haryana Roadways bus of the Hisar depot hit them near Saini Majra toll plaza that falls under Naggal police station in the Ambala district, on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Shiv Bhagat, Sandeep and Mohan from Ismailabad in Kurukshetra district. They were hit from the front by the bus -- which was being driven on the wrong side -- that dragged the three for some distance. The bus driver left the vehicle and fled the spot.
The injured were rushed to the Ambala City Civil Hospital, where they were declared brought dead by the doctors.

The Ambala police booked the driver, Satish Kumar of Prem Nagar village in Hisar district. Sources said the youths were triple-riding on the motorcycle and none of them was wearing helmet.
