Lookout notice against realtor

Vadodara: A lookout circular (LoC) will be issued by Vadodara rural police against Bhupendra alias Tina Shah, who has fled to Canada after framing his former business partner’s son in an Arms Act case.
Shah, a realtor, fled to Canada a fortnight ago after he hired police informer Deepak alias Jabbar to plant a country-made gun in the car of Sneh Patel and tip-off Vadodara rural police about it.
“We will be issuing a lookout circular against Shah in a day or two as he is the kingpin of the conspiracy. He will have to return to the country once his visa expires,” said a police official. He added that once Shah lands at any of the immigration points in the country, he will be arrested because of the lookout circular. Police are also looking into details of his visa.
Meanwhile, Shah’s son Darpit alias Krishna, his business partner Narendra Patel and Jabbar were remanded in police custody for 10 days by a court. Cops said the trio will be questioned about the source of the gun and the cartridges, which Jabbar had placed in Sneh Patel’s car. Earlier Jabbar had informed police that Shah’s man had handed over the weapon to him in Ellora Park a fortnight back.

Later Krishna showed him Patel’s house and Jabbar followed him for 15 days waiting for an opportunity to place the gun in the car. On July 18, when Patel had kept his car unlocked outside his house, Jabbar placed the weapon and cartridges in the boot space and followed him around the city. As Patel was about to enter the jurisdiction of Vadodara rural police, he informed police about the gun and the former was arrested.
A reinvestigation into the case revealed involvement of Shah, his son, business partner and the police informer.
