Cricket legend Shane Warne, 49, is seeking a buyer who is willing to pay $8 million for his luxurious Brighton home.
He reportedly splashed out $5.4 million on the Brighton pad last April, in a bid to downsize from his previous $20 million Melbourne mansion.
According to news.com.au the spin king has made considerable improvements and renovations to the European-style home since he purchased it last year.

The Australian athlete is not the first sports star to have owned the property, with AFL player Matthew Lloyd previously living in the lavish residence.
The luxurious house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large pool and spa, an impressive basement theatre room, a bar, and an underground garage with space for four cars.
It also features a study, a deluxe master bedroom with spa ensuite decorated with Doric columns, and a balcony.

When Shane purchased the property last year, Jonathan Dixon of JP Dixon agency told the Herald Sun he wanted to downsize from his $20 million mansion because it 'was too big' and he was regularly out of the country for work and travel.
'It's got underground garaging, it's in a top spot and its pool (was another drawcard). It's everything he needs but on a smaller scale, which is ideal for him, so he can shut it up and walk away, travel.
'The other one was pretty big and a lot of work.'
The pad had expansive grounds, which included a sparking pool, sprawling tennis courts and even a private gym.

Some of the developments top-tier apartments will be among the most expensive homes in Melbourne, with a double-storey penthouse believed to be $30 million.
