Over a thousand
runners – both young and old – took part in a five-km long
run in the Millennium City on Sunday morning. The run – titled the No Tobacco Run – was organised to raise awareness against the rise of consumption of tobacco by the Gurugram Civil Hospital and the city’s chapter of the
Indian Medical Association (IMA) along with a private hospital in the city. The run was attended by not just the office-holders of the IMA and several doctors but also several cancer survivors.
