NEW DELHI: The Nifty Financial Services index was up with its components trading mixed in Thursday's afternoon session.

Shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation (up 1.90 per cent), ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company (up 1.41 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company (up 1.27 per cent) and HDFC Bank (up 1.05 per cent) were trading higher.

REC (down 4.24 per cent), Power Finance Corporation (down 2.92 per cent), Shriram Transport Finance Company (down 1.69 per cent) and Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company (down 1.67 per cent) were trading in the red.

The Nifty Financial Services index was trading 0.36 per cent up at 13,533.35 around 12:27 pm.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 37.35 points at 11,650.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 124.95 points at 39,090.69.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Dish TV India, Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, Bank of Baroda, PNB, Tata Motors, Wipro, SBI and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
