Former Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was arrested by country’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday in connection with a corruption case. Abbasi was arrested when he was on his way to Lahore for a press conference. Just last month former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari was arrested by the NAB in connection with fake accounts case, and in December last year, former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif was imprisoned for seven years on corruption charges.
