Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi K20 series in India. The phones will be available for purchase via Mi.com and Flipkart exclusively. The company has been aggressively teasing the launch of Redmi K20 series in India, especially the Pro model, which has been tagged the Flagship Killer 2.0. The Redmi K20 Pro has high-end specifications, great design, and will not break your bank. Here are the top features of the new smartphone, which will take on the OnePlus 7.

Full-screen display

The Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is a Samsung panel and also features hardware DC dimming. The phone doesn’t have any notch and has thin bezels all around. The panel supports HDR content and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There is a small chin at the bottom of the display, which gives the smartphone a 91.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. 

Snapdragon 855 chipset

Despite being priced as a mid-range smartphone, the Redmi K20 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. The chipset is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In-display fingerprint scanner

Pop-up front camera

Xiaomi has included the pop-up camera mechanism on the Redmi K20 Pro. This is one of those features that’s usually only found in smartphones that cost a lot more. The main 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor is placed separately from the other two sensors. It has an aperture of f/1.75, but lacks optical image stabilisation. The second sensor is an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto unit that provides up to 2x optical zoom and 10 times digital zoom. Finally, there’s a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 124 degree field of view. The main camera can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and super slow motion 960fps videos in 1080p resolution.
