Everton have reportedly offered €37.5m (£33.8m) for Lille striker Rafael Leao - but Aston Villa are thought to be interested too
That is according to L’Equipe and as relayed by Get French Football News via HITC .
Leao, 20, left Sporting in his native Portugal last summer after a training ground incident, and even though some of Europe’s big clubs were linked, Lille managed to secure his signature.
The forward hit eight goals and three assists in 24 Ligue 1 games last season, and he has been linked with a move to Goodison Park for many months now having impressed Marcel Brands.
It’s now thought that Leao will be leaving Lille as they’ve received four bids for him.
Everton’s comes in at €37.5m (£33.8m) followed by Valencia with €35m plus €5m in add-ons, Napoli have offered €32.5m plus a 10% sell-on clause and Villa’s move is currently unclear.
