EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Benchmark indices were trading lower in Thursday's morning session, weighed down by tech and metal stocks.
The S&P BSE Sensex dipped 85 points, or 0.22 per cent, lower to 39,130, with YES Bank, down over 11 per cent, ONGC, Vedanta, Tata Motors, and HCL Tech among the top losers. The Nifty, too, dropped 26 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 11,661.
All the Nifty sectoral indices except Nifty Fin Service were trading in the red. Nifty Metal index, down 1.1 per cent, took the deepest cut, followed by Nifty IT, down 1 per cent.
In broader market, the S&P BSE MidCap index dipped 65 point, or 0.44 per cent, to 14,478, while the S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 34 points, or 0.25 per cent, lower at 13,682.
RESULTS TODAY
