Nagpur: Musical programme ‘Rimjhim Rimjhim’ cast a spell on the audience as singers presented beautiful songs one after the other at Utkarsh Sabhagruh of Mor Hindi Bhavan, Sitabuldi, on Wednesday evening.
The event was organized by Seema Singh.
The songs were presented by Iqbal Bera, Arpita Soni, Seema Singh, Raj Chaudhari and Maya Dhoke, who expressed nicely their love and passion for singing. The retro ride of emotions and singing was displayed magnificently.
Songs like ‘Barkha rani zara jamke barso’ by Iqbal, ‘Roz roz dali dali’ by Arpita, ‘Thandi hawa kali ghata’ by Maya, ‘Suhani chandani raatein’ by Iqbal, ‘O sajna barkha bahaar aayi’ by Arpita, ‘Aye dil mujhe bata de’ by Maya, ‘Rimjhim gire sawan’ and ‘Aaj se pehle aaj se zyada’ by Raj, ‘Tujko pukare mera pyar’ by Iqbal, ‘O majhi re nadiya ki dhara’ by Iqbal, ‘Babuji dheere chalna’ by Maya, ‘Mere naina sawan bhado’ by Iqbal and ‘Zindagi pyar ka geet hai’ by Seema enthralled the audience.
Sanjay Uttarwar, principal of VIT, who was the guest at the programme, touched the hearts of music lovers with the rendition of ‘Chand si mehbooba ho meri kab’.
The audience tapped feet and hummed as duets like ‘Is mod se jaate hain’ by Seema and Raj, title song ‘Rimjhim rimjhim’ by Iqbal and Arpita, ‘Aap ki aankhon mein kuchh’ by Seema and Raj, ‘Jaane jaa dhundhta phir raha’ by Iqbal and Seema, ‘Kisi raah mein’ by Arpita and Iqbal, ‘Aaja sanam madhur chandani mein’ by Maya and Raj, ‘Kitna pyara wada’ by Seema and Raj, ‘Shokhiyon mein ghola jaaye’ by Arpita and Raj, ‘Yeh raat bheegi bheegi’ by Maya and Raj entertained the audience.
Seema and Raj presented three duets ‘Wada karle sajna’, ‘Bheegi bheegi raaton mein’ and ‘Chalte chalte mere yeh geet’ to conclude the programme.
Padma Bhivgade was the anchor while music arrangement was done by Vinod Pande. Manoj Tambe was the coordinator.
