TWO police constables were killed by criminals in Chandausi area of Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident occurred around 6 pm today evening when 3 criminals who were returning from Chandausi court to Moradabad after hearing, threw chilli powder into eyes of the constables accompanying them. criminals snatched guns from 2 constables and opened fire on them in which both died on spot.
All three escaped from the spot and combing is on to nab them. CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed his deepest condolences on the death of the two police personnel in Sambhal and has directed the department to provide compensation of Rs 50 lakhs each, Govt service for one dependent and extraordinary pension to the wife of the deceased.
