China is one of the most significant markets for Maldives tourism: among the top 5 markets for tourist arrivals. In the last 5 months alone, 116,286 tourists visited the Maldives from China.
Also, Minister Ali Waheed met with the Counter Terrorism Coordinator of European Union and EU’s Ambassador as well to organize discussions regarding the tourism sector.
