So it would come as a surprise to some that the Australian beauty keeps her skincare and makeup routine minimalist, opting for neutral looks and a selective few products recommended by her dermatologist.
As an international jet-setter and full time mum, the Laura Mercier ambassador told Mecca the key to her regime is simplicity and little multipurpose tricks like using bronzer as eyeshadow to bring out her blue eyes.
'Do not curl your lashes after your mascara. Do it before! I used to do that, and it pulls your eyelashes out!' She said.

As for her skincare, Lara has had to adapt her routine as her two pregnancies saw her develop hyper pigmentation and acne.
'I didn't have acne when I was a teenager, and then with pregnancy things are changing in your body, which is fine because it's for the bigger picture, but when you're going through it you put yourself under such a microscope,' she said.
To combat her skin insecurities, Lara developed a skin care regime with a dermatologist she trusted, including peel treatments and facials.
But she said the at-home care is just as important as any in-salon treatments, and said she is careful to keep out of the sun and uses Dr Sturm skincare products.
As for her hair care, she said she is equally as laid back.
Her signature blonde locks have long been the style envy and inspiration of Australian women, but its far less difficult to achieve than some might think.

Sydney-based hairdresser Travis Balcke is the only person she trusts to chop her hair, and said she often gets him to trim it as short as possible when she's in town so it doesn't grow out too much during her stints in Los Angeles.
She doesn't blow dry her hair, preferring to let it dry naturally, and said she rarely gets manicures or her eyebrows done.
Lara said while her regime works for her, there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to beauty and skin care.
'It's important to figure out what works for you,' she said. 'It's like getting dressed, we all need to figure out our own little journey.'
