Drug kingpin El Chapo sentenced to life in prison

Joaquín Guzmán Loera, known to the world as El Chapo, was sentenced to life in prison, plus 30 more years, for his involvement in brutal murders and controlling much of the illegal drug trade across the U.S. The kingpin, who famously escaped twice, is expected to spend the rest of his life at a Colorado supermax prison.July 17, 2019
