CBI raids Atiq Ahmad's house, office in Allahabad

ALLAHABAD: A CBI team conducted a series of raids at mafia turned politician Atiq Ahmed's house and office in Allahabad on Wednesday morning. Heavy police bandobast was made outside his house located at Atala area after the raids.
SP city, Brajesh Kumar Shrivastav confirmed that a CBI team had conducted raids at Atiq's house and office. He however said that details were yet to follow.
The local people were surprised to see heavy deployment of police forces as they were not allowed to move towards Atiq's house. Atiq is currently lodged at a jail in Gujarat.
