NEW DELHI: After four months of non-stop cricket that included marquee events like the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the ICC Cricket World Cup, Team India will have another foreign assignment coming up when they tour the Caribbean next.
The upcoming home season after that promises to be an action packed one for cricket fans, with the Indian cricket team scheduled to play a mix of quality opposition and lower ranked teams in back-to-back series.
After the tour of the Caribbean, India's next foreign assignment will be a tour of New Zealand in the month of February 2020.
As far as their upcoming home season is concerned India will be playing a total of 5 Tests, 9 one-day internationals (ODIs) and 12 Twenty20 internationals (T20Is).
The 2019-20 home season for the Indian team kick-starts with 3 T20 internationals vs South Africa, followed by the Gandhi-Mandela Test series. The fixtures which will be played between India and South Africa in September-October 2019.
