Noida residents conduct plantation drive in Sector 108

Residents from several sectors of Noida planted 120 trees in sector 108, Noida recently. About 25 residents of all ages and company employees volunteered for plantation.

“Noida is among the 21 cities of India facing acute water crisis and is also one of the most polluted cities in the world. We need more trees to attract rain, recharge underground water and reduce pollution,” said Mohit Garg, a resident of Sector 128. The plantation was sponsored by private companies and supported by Noida Authority.
