Stocks in the news: DHFL\, MCX\, Federal Bank\, Jet Airways\, YES Bank\, SBI and Tata Metaliks

NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange were trading 8 points, or 0.07 per cent, lower at 11,578.50, indicating a tepid start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

Federal Bank, MCX and HDFC AMC: DCB Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC AMC, MCX, 5paisa Capital, Network18 Media and TV 18 Broadcast are a few companies which will announcement their June quarter results on Monday.

DHFL: Auditors of crisis-hit DHFL have sought more information from the company's management, according to sources.

Vodafone Idea: The telecom operator is said to have repaid a sizeable chunk of the almost Rs 4,300 crore of loans due to be cleared in this financial year using a portion of its Rs 25,000 crore rights issue proceeds, people familiar with the matter said.

Jet Airways: The airline will hold creditors meet today. Meanwhile, the government has ordered SFIO probe in six cases, including that of Jet Airways and its six entities, in the first three months of the current financial year, reports suggested.

YES Bank: Private lender YES Bank’s bid to bring in an equity investor is likely to materialise soon. Sources said the bank received the term sheet offer over weekend from a US-based private equity investor.

Greaves Cotton: The engineering company, which manufactures and supplies automotive engines, increased its stake in electric two-wheeler maker Ampere Vehicles, to 81.23 per cent from 72.11 per cent.

JSW Steel: The company told the National Company Law Tribunal that the company is not backing out from the ongoing resolution process of Bhushan Power & Steel.

SBI: The RBI said it has slapped a penalty of Rs 7 crore on the country's largest bank SBI for non-compliance with norms related to NPA identification and fraud risk management, among others.

Tata Metaliks: The company said its profit after tax (PAT) fell by over 35 per cent to Rs 19.62 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2019.

Shriram Transport Finance Company: STFC said it plans to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore through public issuance of bonds.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: ABFRL said it will acquire a 51 per cent stake in Indian fashion designers duo Shantanu & Nikhil's apparel firm Finesse International Design.
