Key Events
WATCH: Marco Silva's midfield options
Marco Silva’s midfield options are looking pretty strong in the heart of midfield.
After bringing in Andre Gomes permanently and signing Fabian Delph, the duo join Gylfi Sigurdsson, Idrissa Gueye, Morgan Schneiderlin, Tom Davies, James McCarthy, Joe Williams and Muhamed Besic as options in the middle of the park.
And while you would not be surprised to see a couple of those names leave Goodison Park before the start of the season, it leaves Silva with something of a selection headache.
Gomes will undoubtedly start. But who should partner him?
Moise Kean latest
With Matthijs de Ligt on the verge of completing a move to Juventus, Everton have been boosted by the fact rumoured target Moise Kean has not been used as a makeweight.

The Blues have repeatedly been linked with the Italian this summer and Juventus will need to balance their books after signing De Ligt, with Kean a likely candidate to make way.
Ajax are also said to be interested in the forward, but Technical Director Marc Overmars has rejected suggestions that Kean would ever be included in the De Ligt transfer.
Moise Kean and Ajax? BS, zero truth. With respect, but there was never any interest. And we never considered asking for him in a deal with Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt.

So how good was Fabian Delph last season? Our video guys have taken a look...
Welcome aboard!
A good move for club and player. Royal Blue suits him.
Steve Bruce 'wants Everton duo' at Newcastle
Having walked out on Sheffield Wednesday in hope of getting the Newcastle United job, Steve Bruce reportedly already has his eyes on his first two signings.
90min are reporting he wants to sign both Yannick Bolasie and James McCarthy from Everton once his appointment has been confirmed.

Bruce had Bolasie on loan at Aston Villa at the start of last season, while he has reportedly has long-held interest in McCarthy.

With Marco Silva looking to move both players on, could the duo swap Goodison Park for St James’ Park?
Everton 'line up' Soumaoro as Zouma alternative
Reports in France claim Everton are lining up a move for Lille’s Adama Soumaoro in case they are unsuccessful in their efforts to re-sign Kurt Zouma.

The Blues’ former loanee has linked up with Chelsea on their tour of the Far East, with Marco Silva having to remain patient if he is to stand a chance of landing the centre-back.
But with Chelsea under transfer ban and reluctant to lose players, Soumaoro is seen as an alternative according to La Voix Du Nord, cited by Sport Witness.
The 27-year-old is a regular for Lille but has reportedly asked to leave the club this summer.
RB Leipzig to 'increase offer' for Ademola Lookman
RB Leipzig are reportedly ready to increase their offer for Ademola Lookman.
The winger spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan with the Bundesliga club, and they have been interested in re-signing him ever since.

Reports last week suggested Leipzig had an initial €20million rejected.
And now are Kicker are suggesting they preparing a more lucrative second offer.
They report Leipzig will up their bid to €22million, but claim Everton are holding out for €28million.
After bringing in Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph, Marco Silva will need to move on other players before making another season.
Could Lookman be the one to make way?
