Hodgson promoted to the role of commercial director at the Savoy

She will be setting financial target and deliver the budgeted revenue across all revenue streams that includes guestrooms and suites, meetings and events, food and beverage, etc.

 

 

She will also be seeing the product development and identify new market opportunities to determine optimal pricing strategy.

 

Across the hotel Linda will be coordinating with a diverse team that will include guest services, quality, food and beverage. She will also be maintaining the ongoing leadership of sales, revenue management and  marketing operations.

 

In 2016 Hodgson has joined as the director of sales and marketing and holds more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector.

 

She has served properties like the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Langham Hospitality Group and Hilton Hotels Corporation, across Hong Kong, the US, and London.

 

Hodgson said that in her new role at the Savoy she was looking forward to the personal challenge and to the opportunity it presents the business.

 

She said that they recognise the scope for success by dedicating efforts to focusing on the business tools and intelligence available to them.By putting this invaluable data towards informing and driving their commercial strategies.

 

 

Hodgson is passionate about her management and leadership and believes in continuous development with her team.

 

 

Hodgson said that one of the key responsibilities of a leader is to create great leaders, giving them the confidence to have the courage of their convictions, to challenge upwards, and to play their part in executing the overall vision.
