The internet has found a new trend to keep themselves busy and it is called #SareeTwitter. Women are sharing their own pictures draped in nine yards in aid of the trend.

Twitter is a strange place indeed as netizens do end up discovering, and not to forget, inventing stuff to keep themselves occupied. The latest in the 'market' is a phenomenon called #SareeTwitter that has women posting their own pictures in pretty sarees.

#SareeTwitter has been one of the top trends since Monday and the number of tweets posted in aid of it are only increasing. It is trending today as well, and that too, furiously with politicians and folks from several walks of life posting their saree pictures. The reason behind the origination of #SareeTwitter hasn't been figured as yet but never mind, because we are loving the pictures.
