Vile teacher, 37, who had 'rough sex' with a 17-year-old student and showed her violent pornography is banned from the classroom for eight years
- Film and television teacher, 37, directed a play in which girl, 17, had a lead role
- Manipulated pupil into secret relationship causing long-term damage
- He 'used force' to have sex with crying teenager, leaving her bruised, bleeding
A 37-year-old high-school teacher who manipulated a Year 12 student into 'rough sex' during which she was crying and injured has been banned from classrooms for eight years.
The film and television studies teacher sent the 17-year-old girl violent pornographic material and had sex with her multiple times, including at her home and in his car.
The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal found it was the worst case of misconduct they had seen and said in their judgement that the teacher showed no remorse for his degradation of the vulnerable student which emotionally crippled her, resulting in her self-harming.

The Film and Television teacher had been directing a play in which the student had a leading role in 2008, when he began driving the girl and a fellow pupil home after late night rehearsals, a Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal judgement reveals.
One night, the teacher - given the pseudonym RGK to protect the identity of his victim - kissed her on the mouth in his car.
The girl, who admired and respected her teacher, told another student who reported the incident to staff.
RGK was angry at the girl and rang and texted her saying: 'What have you done?'.
When the school investigated, both the girl and the teacher denied anything had happened.
After this incident, the girl felt isolated from her peers and teachers, the judgement said. She was then vulnerable for exploitation.
'RGK manipulated the student, knowing her desire to know about the field of work of acting, and having reference to his past acting experience and training. He played on her youth, family circumstances, and lack of life experience, and therefore her vulnerability,' the judgement said.
A few weeks later, during the production of the play, the teacher pushed her up against a wall and kissed her on the mouth.
The student did not tell anybody and the inappropriate behaviour progressed to the teacher having sexual intercourse with her.
The traumatised girl began harming herself.
Over the next six months the teacher had sex with her multiple times including in his car, at his home and during the production of the play.
He used force to have sex with her several times including on one occasion where he continued to have sex with her despite her crying.
'She subsequently sustained vaginal bleeding, a swollen lip and bruises to her arms,' the judgement said.
He directed her to set up an email account and used it to send her violent porn.
He brought sado-masochistic sex aids to use during his encounters with the teenager.
The relationship continued for six months after the student's graduation.
The experience caused long-term psychological harm to the teenager, impacting her perceptions of romantic relationships, sexual relationships and physical intimacy, the judgement said.
The former student suffered a nervous breakdown in 2015 and told a psychologist that on reflection she 'never consented [to] or liked the rough sex or violent pornography' and considers that she was taken advantage of whilst she was at school and under the teacher's care and responsibility,' the judgement said.

After 10 years she reported RGK to the police, and the Queensland College of Teachers suspended RGK's registration in 2017. to the Tribunal.
The Tribunal said that the significant age difference between the 37-year-old teacher and his teenage student had aggravated his offense, as had the fact that he was an experienced teacher having first registered in 1999.
'In this matter the inappropriate behaviour was apparent from the outset, became very quickly sexual, then violent, and was always denied with no acknowledgement of the harm done to the relevant student,' the judgement said, noting RGK had not expressed any remorse for his actions.
The Queensland College of Teachers suspended RGK's registration in 2017 deeming him to be an unacceptable risk to children after 18 years of teaching.
He will not be able to apply to teach again for eight years, the July 2 Tribunal judgement said.
After the ban is lifted, he would have to provide an independent psychological assessment to the Queensland College of Teachers in order to apply again.
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) told Daily Mail Australia that there is no chance the teacher can move to another state to teach during his ban.
'Queensland gives NSW (and all other jurisdictions) updates about the teachers whose registration has been cancelled,' a NESA spokesman said on Monday.
'A teacher who is cancelled in one jurisdiction will not be eligible for registration (or accreditation) in another jurisdiction.'
