Coimbatore: The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) raided the sub-registrar office at Ganapathy on Monday and seized unaccounted money worth Rs 70,000.
The raid was conducted after DVAC received complaints that the officials were demanding bribe.
A team of DVAC sleuths led by deputy superintendent of police C Rajesh inspected the office on Monday evening and found the money. A case is expected to be registered against the officials in charge of the office. TNN
