Flood control rooms established at district and subdivision levels
Ludhiana, July 15, 2019: Ahead of monsoon season, the district administration has completed the flood control arrangements.
Flood control rooms have been established at district and sub-division levels as well.
While releasing the list and contact numbers of flood control rooms, Deputy Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Agrawal said that district-level flood control room has been established at his office, its number is 0161-2433100.

Agrawal instructed to concerned officials that Officials who have been assigned flood control duties at any level could not leave the station without prior sanction. SDMs and XEN Drainage will personally monitor the functioning of flood control rooms so that people can make easy contact with authorities in the emergency situation.
