China says no cooperation with U.S. companies that sell arms to Taiwan

China's government and companies will not do business with U.S. companies that are involved in arms sales to Taiwan, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said on Monday.

China earlier said it intended to impose sanctions on U.S. companies after the U.S. State Department last week approved the sale of weapons requested by Taiwan, including tanks and missiles.

Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang made the comments at a daily news briefing in Beijing.
