UPSRTC to learn best practices from other states

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will learn the 'best practices' from other states to assure a comfortable and safe travel for its passengers. Emphasis will be on e-governance and IT to improve the services. 'Public Reach Policy' will be soon implemented to make it easy for the passengers to avail the services of the corporation.
MD, UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), Raj Shekhar, on Monday, said feedback from passengers will help in improving the services. Feebback from passengers will be invited through website, call centre and mobile app.

Every vehicle will be tracked for its real-time location. He also directed the officers to work as a team and take up the problems of the crew on priority basis.
There will be a special emphasis on condition and fitness of the buses as well as training and medical check up of the drivers and conductors.
