MUMBAI: The vehicular traffic movement on both carriageways of Mumbai-Goa highway has been disrupted since 9.30am on Monday due to landslide in Lote Parshuram ghat section at Chiplun.
The Goa highway safety patrol police have stopped the heavy vehicles from plying and only LMVs are allowed to cross the ghat section.
Ratnagiri district has witnessed heavy downpour in the last few days.
Dapoli highway has also been closed. Several houses have been inundated in Khed market area following incessant rainfall in the region.
