Filming for a reunion episode of Gavin and Stacey has begun.
The cast of the much-loved British comedy returned to Barry Island yesterday as filming got underway for the anticipated one-hour special that is to be aired at Christmas.
Festive decorations including a light-up Santa and fairy lights have been put up outside a terraced house on Trinity Street in the town, which is used as the set for Uncle Bryn's home.

Smithy's car has also been spotted travelling along the M4, heading towards south Wales, today.
All of the key cast members were seen reprising their roles, with Bryn (Rob Brydon) donning his trademark beige trousers, paired with a knitted cardigan over his shirt and Pam, played by Alison Steadman, wearing a fluorescent pink tracksuit.
Larry Lamb who plays Mick Shipman , and Joanna Page and Matthew Horne, who play main characters Gavin and Stacey, were also spotted waiving at hundreds of fans who had lined the streets to catch glimpse of the stars.

James Corden and Ruth Jones, writers of the hit BBC sitcom who also play characters Smithy and Nessa, were pictured with crews and cast members, although neither appeared to be in character.
The pair have not revealed any details of the plot, although it is clear they will return to Barry for the Christmas special.
Nessa and Smithy's son, Neil, will now be 11-years-old, however, it is unclear whether his character will return for the reunion.

Speaking on the upcoming episode earlier this year, Corden and Jones, said: "Over the last 10 years we've talked a lot about Gavin and Stacey - where they might be today and what their lives might look like.
"And so in secret we took the plunge and wrote this one hour special."
Appearing on ITV's Loose Women last week, Larry Lamb told the panel how Corden and Jones have picked up the series where it left off.

However, as he told them he'd been sworn to secrecy about the plot's specific details, he was unable to reveal much more.
"Everyone's been going on about it for ten years," he said on the show.
"They've not tried to turn it into a great big circus or anything, they've rolled it on and there we are, 10 years down the line."
News of the reunion was revealed earlier this year in a tweet by James Corden when he shared a photograph of the script with his followers.

The show debuted in 2007, and has since become a cultural phenomenon.
It followed the relationship between Gavin (Mathew Horne), from Essex, and Stacey (Joanna Page), from Wales, as they juggled their lives and love - all whilst miles apart from one another.
