31 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

A major fire broke out in Shahdara's Jhilmil Industrial Area on Saturday morning. Three persons have died in the incident, police said.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Ved Prakash Surya said that bodies of three persons have been recovered from inside the factory and rescue operation is underway.

A fire department official said that the call regarding fire was received at 9:25am after which at least 30 fire tenders have been pressed into service. The fire hasn't been completely doused, the official said.
