Haryana: INLD senior leader Gopichand Gahlot joins BJP in Gurugram

Ahead of Haryana assembly elections, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) senior leader and former Deputy speaker, Gopichand Gahlot joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He joined the party in presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday. With the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections slated for September, political activity in the state is picking pace, with several key players across party lines switching sides. Earlier, Nuh MLA and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) member Zakir Hussain joined the BJP.
