A Delhi court has dismissed a revision petition by Amrapali Group chairman Anil Kumar Sharma against a subordinate court order for framing of cheating and criminal conspiracy charges in a case lodged by a home buyer in his Dream Valley project in Greater Noida.

Dismissing the petition, Additional Sessions Judge Sanjay Sharma-1 said: “I find no illegality, impropriety or incorrectness in the impugned order. The trial court rightly directed for framing of charges against the revisionists for the offences punishable under Section 420/409/406/120B IPC.”

“The formal charges are yet to be framed. Hence, the trial court is directed to frame alternate charge for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC and Section 406/409 IPC, as the case may be or shall frame separate charge for separate transactions, as the case may be,” the judge said. There are four other accused in the case, including Messrs Amrapali Dream Valley Pvt. Ltd. The court ordered framing of the charges against them as well.
