JAIPUR: A 16-year-old girl has alleged that she was abducted and gang-raped by four youths on Sunday under the limits of Kho Nagoriyan police station area.
ACP (Malviya Nagar) Suresh Chand informed TOI that an FIR was registered in the case on Wednesday. The girl alleged that the accused pushed her into a car and took turns to
rape her.
“One of the accused works as a water supplier at the same place where she works. When the girl was heading home after completing her shift, the accused offered to drop her home in his car. When she entered the car, the accused locked the vehicle and took her to a secluded place near Luniyawas where the prime accused and his brother raped her. A few hours later, the accused called his other friends too. Her ordeal continued till midnight when the accused dropped her near her house,” an official said.
An official informed TOI that the rape survivor and the prime accused worked in the same organisation. “The girl did not share her ordeal until she developed complications on Wednesday. She was writhing in pain when the family members took her to the hospital for treatment. She later narrated the entire incident to them, following which an FIR was filed,” said an official.
The police have conducted the medical test of the
minor girl. “The suspects are under scanner. They will not be able to evade arrest,” the official added. The girl told police that she was threatened by the accused that if she goes to the police, she will have to face severe consequences. The case is being investigated under the supervision of an ACP-rank official.
